The Faith and Arts shop in Logos Bookstore in Kent, Ohio created some faith filled scrapbook papers, which they had on sale during the expo. They had so many wonderful things and their demonstration was on bible journaling. We were able to try <a href="https://www.faithandartshop.com/store/p873/Gelatos_-_Gift_Set_%231_-_33_piece_set.html#/">Gelatos</a>, <a href="https://www.faithandartshop.com/store/p1345/Acrylic_Paint_Markers_Pens_-_set_of_12.html#/">Acrylic paint pens</a>, Cosmic Shimmer <a href="https://www.faithandartshop.com/store/p1342/Cosmic_Shimmer_Glitter_Kiss.html#/">glitter kiss</a> and <a href="https://www.faithandartshop.com/store/p1343/Cosmic_Shimmer_Opal_Polish.html#/">opal polish</a> all great for bible journaling because they don't breed through the page. I'm hoping I will have more about Bible Journaling later this year. I bought several of the <a href="https://www.faithandartshop.com/apps/search?q=inspire#/">Inspire</a> books of the bible, plus I've collected a few Bibles for bible journaling over the last couple years. I'm hoping I will have the courage to actually start coloring in them. The class at the Expo was a great start to get some experience.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Thanks for stopping by...</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Blessings,</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Deb</span></div>Debra Millerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08120906205432013779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1691782484582207980.post-51992827837197823462024-01-13T02:00:00.002-06:002024-01-13T02:00:00.134-06:00Unity Stamps - Wonderful Human Birthday <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTtvP_9CVnUGzfDqrkvp7iP6XF60z0mGS2EhtiIqcoFTlvAezRIVOaezW_f8ad38SYhjTSElsGsgjU9Tk45U5T91n2Ck23NjnRB9Pbn7bWr2ozTKxcz3B81uokVolzZ85DEu0X9PXi1zln1wgkXLFtQZPw3TxBR-iCd3TMITnOo1lm6IAQuK3RHnV0hW4/s4335/unity-giraffe1.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4335" data-original-width="3456" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTtvP_9CVnUGzfDqrkvp7iP6XF60z0mGS2EhtiIqcoFTlvAezRIVOaezW_f8ad38SYhjTSElsGsgjU9Tk45U5T91n2Ck23NjnRB9Pbn7bWr2ozTKxcz3B81uokVolzZ85DEu0X9PXi1zln1wgkXLFtQZPw3TxBR-iCd3TMITnOo1lm6IAQuK3RHnV0hW4/w510-h640/unity-giraffe1.JPG" width="510" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Happy Saturday!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Today, I have a card I made for my friend's daughter who turned 16 </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">in November </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">and my niece whose birthday was Monday, </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">both are wonderful humans. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">The stamp set is from Unity Stamps.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"> </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">The image was colored with Copic markers, image background is light </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">blue chalk. This is a multi-step stamp to create the bird and comes with 2 great sentiments for only $4.50. I love their "mini" stamp sets. There are 9 separate stamps to create the bird. You could definitely get creative with the colors if you wanted to. I stayed in the blues mostly.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">The image and stamp was stamped on a 2-3/4" square and mounted on a 5.5" square base card, with some patterned layers. I glued a piece of acetate behind the die cut to create the clear front for the shaker. Then, I added thin foam tape around the 4 large holes, filled them with <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BHZB96R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1">clay sprinkles</a> and added the base card.</span></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">The Mouse and sentiment are from a My Favorite Things stamp set - "It's a Mice Time to Celebrate".
