DDH2 Challenge: Sketch ~ Week 1

Hello All,

Today there's a NEW Challenge at DDH and I'm hosting!  I chose a sketch challenge and here in my sketch...

We would LOVE it if you played along!  This challenge is open for 2 weeks...now - Sunday, April 3rd.  Visit the DDH blog and add a link to your creation based on this sketch to our card gallary and you will have a chance to win blog candy!  The winner will be able to choose a DDH digi set $3.50 or less...there are over 30 to choose from so check out the DDH store.

The sketch is a starting point - feel free to interpret this sketch literally or adapt it.  Rotate or mirror the sketch, add more layers.  Shapes drawn can be circles, squares, rectangles, nestabilities shapes etc... Just have fun with it!

Here is my card based on my sketch...

I used Spindle Angels.  Love these angels...so fun to color!  I was hoping for a satin finish on the angels dress, like thread on the spool.  I'm really happy how it turned out.

Supplies: TAC Amberley Grace SWIC (coordinating cardstock, ribbon and hardware), Copics: BG72, BG75, BG78; YR21, YR23, YR24; E21, E55, E57, E59 Sentinment: TAC Love You (sentiment - rubber stamp set)

Next Monday, March 28th more Sketch Challenge cards will be added to the DDH blog and I will have another card to share as well.  Won't you join us?!?

Be sure to vist all of our DDH Dream Team Members blogs...

  1. What a stunning card! You did an awesome job coloring the angel with thread. Funny how I never thought of that angel with thread, but that is exactly what it is supposed to be! I saved all those stamps - may have to pull them out and give it a try! And I love the Amberley Grace paper background! Great card.
