Unity - Plane and Simple Birthday

Today I have a fun set from Unity Stamps "Plane and Simple", which I bought during their big Labor Day sale. These planes are so fun and this card was made for our grand-nephew for his 6th birthday.  

I stamped the 3 planes on white cardstock, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.  Then, I laid the colored images out on the cloud paper and stamped the loopy trail, so I would know where to stamp the plane.  Then I popped the colored planes with double stick foam tape and placed them over the stamped plane images.

Copic Colors: R35, R37, B41, B45, YR21, YR23, W2

The main panel is matted with PaperTrey Ink Black and Pure Poppy cardstock and added to the white base card.  The sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday (shop closed) set called Blooming Branches (retired).

Unity Stamps - Wooden Heart Valentine

 

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have the Valentine I made for Mark.  

The stamp set is from Unity Stamp Set called Wooden Heart.

It is colored with Copic markers E30, E31, E35 and E37 

with the center heart in R32, R35, R37, R39.  I added some

glaze liquid over the red heart.

PTI - Feathered Friends #4: Anniversary

Happy Saturday!

Today I have the anniversary card I made for my husband to share.  It uses PaperTrey Ink Feathered Friends #4.  This is a multi-step stamp to create the bird and comes with 2 great sentiments for only $4.50.  I love their "mini" stamp sets.  There are 9 separate stamps to create the bird.  You could definitely get creative with the colors if you wanted to.  I stayed in the blues mostly.

The image and stamp was stamped on a 2-3/4" square and mounted on a 5.5" square base card, with some patterned layers.  A bit of white cord to finish, it came together pretty quickly.

Inks:  PTI Spring Rain (body) 

Enchanted Evening (wing) 
Dark Indigo (head/tail/feet/beak/eye/feather detail) 

and Honey Nut (breast feathers)

Penny Black - Blooming Garden

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card.  I'm thinking Spring.

The stamp set is Penny Black - Blooming Garden.  

There are several great flowers in this set.

I stamped the flowers in soft stone on white cardstock,

then added the 2 colored flowers, the banner and sequins.

The Happy Birthday stamp is from Just Rite Sentimental Damask.

Today, I have a feminine card for any occasion.

I used PaperTrey Ink Sweet Life stamp set.  The roses 

are 2 and 3 step stamps, which creates such a vibrant flower.

The script background is from A|Muse studios.
