Marvelous You

Happy Tuesday!

Today is Tune in Tuesday and I am the guest designer on TAC Savvy Project Blog.  The theme is masculine cards.

I have a Masculine card/mini album to share. I used "Marvelous You" T-3406 from the Fall Supplement.

This is one of the images Mischelle featured in her TAC Caboodles Coloring class. The mountains are amazing...feathered top down with blues, blue-violets and grays; feathered up with grays and browns. Loved learning this coloring technique. I added some blue chalk to the sky and inked around the image with Cognac and Burnt Umber palette inks.
I used "Penelope" Soar With It Collection and cardstock today. I added faux stitching around the striped cardstock with the ScorBuddy and ScorBug and finished with a twill bow. Twill is a marvelous option for a masculine card.
Inside, I continued the Penelope stripe with the faux stitching. The opposite side is kraft cardstock.

I colored a second image, then used a 1.5" diameter punch to punch out the bear. I inked the edge with Burnt Umber ink and mounted it on a tag from Penelope. Then added an antique copper eyelet.

Supplies -- Stamps: T-3406 Marvelous You; Papers: Penelope SWIC and cardstock, Kraft cardstock; Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette Cognac and Burnt Umber; Pastel Chalks; Copics: E21, E55, E57, E59; W3, B41, BV31, BV23; YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97; ScorBuddy; ScorBug; Natural Twill; Antique Copper hardware.

Hope you enjoyed Tune in Tuesday and my Manly card.

Blessings,
Deb

  1. Deb, I can't believe how wonderful this is! I think I will show my Copics class when we get to the worksheet of coloring that image. They too will be so impressed how you colored this and the booklet you made.
