Mabelle RO - Springtime Toadstool

Happy Mabelle RO Monday,

I have a new Mabelle R.O. image from her Spring collection called Springtime Toadstool.  This was such a fun image to color.

 

I don't usually just color an image and hope I have a patterned paper that goes but this time that is what I did and got lucky.  I've used this Crate Paper Farmhouse cardstock before though and it does have colors in it I use often.  

I colored the image with Copic markers and chalked the background.  I actually colored through the dots on the toadstool to get an even blend then went back with some Copic opaque white and painted the dots.  They really stand out that way.  I added some saddle stitch ribbon.  I love how bold it is.

Inks: Copic Markers, Pastel Chalk, Copic Opaque white.

Copic Colors: YR15, YR18, YR21, YR23, YR24, YR27, E09, Y35, Y38, YG61, YG63, YG67, R35, R37.
