RRD June Blog Hop: Happily Grateful

It's the First Thursday of the month, so we have a blog hop and new releases at Red Rubber Designs.  Today, the design team is featuring the June spotlight stamp set Happily Grateful.  This set is on sale all thru June!

June is also all about scrapbooking at Red Rubber Designs.   All month the design team will be sharing scrapbook ideas like layouts, mini albums, art journals, embellishments using the newly released June stamp sets.

This is "I Heart You" one of the new releases:
My page - we went to Tennessee the last weekend in April to visit family.  These pictures are of a Tulip Tree in Diane's backyard.  I had never seen a Tulip Tree before.

When I got home, I googled "tulip tree" and found they are also called Tulip Poplar or Yellow Poplar trees. They are closely related to Magnolias, another beautiful tree that doesn't grow in the North.  The trees grow extremely tall, they can exceed 100 ft and the leaves are just massive.

We had missed the trees in full bloom, but I managed to find a beautiful one.  The blooms are truly amazing.
The patterned cardstock I used is Cha Cha.  The eyelet is Cha Cha Hardware.  The leaves are stamped with embossing ink to create a watermark.  The butterfly was stamped with Memento black ink, so I could add some color with Copic Marker.  Copic Colors: R24, R29, YG13, Y35.

Blog Hop Contest:
We have another contest this month.  Are you ready for a scavenger hunt?  Each design team member will have a different question about Red Rubber Designs.  The answers can be found in the RRD Store.

So at each stop on the hop, leave a lovely comment and collect the scavenger hunt question, after you have all 7 questions head over to RRD and search for the answers.

E-mail your list of answers with your name and e-mail address to contest@RedRubberDesigns.com.  If your answers are correct your name will be entered into a drawing for the June spotlight stamp set "Happily Grateful".  One winner will be chosen at random.  Good Luck and Happy Hopping!

Contest ends Sunday, June 10th at Midnight (US-CT).
