Sketch Saturday Challenge #298

We have a brand new challenge today at Sketch Saturday.  A new sponsor too - Oak Pond Creations.  Kim the owner and illustrator is also joining us as a guest designer.  We were given digis to use today - I chose Baby.

 The sketch this week was designed by Alex:

 

Great sketch don't you think?  I figure I will need a baby card or two this summer, so I went with pastels.

The blocks and letters were paper pieced and the teddy bear was colored cut out and popped.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #273

 

Happy Saturday!  We have a new sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday.

 Here is my interpretation:

 

I saw a fence in the border detail of the sketch.  I used a PTI picket fence die that I've had for quite some time.  So nice to finally use it :D

I stamped the fence with a woodgrain background from A|Muse and PTI soft stone ink.  I was hoping for a white washed fence look, with a hint of the woodgrain showing thru.  One more thing I've had for some time and finally used it.

The image is from Oak Pond Creations, an image that I won in a challenge.  This image is called "Marie's Strawberries".  I love strawberries.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #271

Hi All,

We have a new sketch at Sketch Saturday!  I won this image in a challenge a few months ago.

I created a baseball themed card for Mark this year.  We both love baseball, our second date was a baseball game :)  With baseball in mind, I used a diamond rather than the hexagon shown in the sketch.

This sketch was really perfect for this image.  The image I used is Baseball Glove from Oak Pond Creations.
