DDH2 Challenge: Sketch ~ Week 2

Happy Monday!

Today's Week 2 of my DDH Sketch Challenge! Here is the sketch...

We would LOVE it if you played along! This challenge is open until 6 pm Sunday, April 3rd. Visit DDH and add a link to your creation based on this sketch to our card gallary and you will have a chance to win blog candy! We are offering a $3.50 or less DDH digi stamp set - winners choice! There are over 30 to choose from - visit the DDH Store.

The sketch is a starting point - feel free to interpret this sketch literally or adapt it. Rotate or mirror the sketch, add more layers. Shapes drawn can be circles, squares, rectangles, nestabilities shapes etc... Just have fun with it!

I used Spindle Angels again this week. Love those angels! Here is a close up of my second card based on the sketch...

Pot Of Gold Challenge

Happy Friday!

Today we have a new challenge "Pot Of Gold" Challenge. The criteria for this challenge is the card must have...stitching, punch, ribbon, button/brad, some green and be more than 1 layer.

Here is my creation:

I was thinking spring - and I have Hoppy Everything out...it is 25% off this month! This card has faux stitching (pierced holes and white gel pen), punched circles, white ribbon, a white button, some green in the Hip Hop cardstock and is multi-layered.

When coloring the butterfly, I feathered the yellow into the blue to create some green.

Supplies -- Stamps "Hoppy Everything", "Hip Hop" Fly With It Collection, Bazzill cardstock, Copics; B41, BG01, YG11, YG13, YG17, Y35, Y38, Bone Floss, Tombow white gel pen.

Damask Pop Up Card

It's Tune in Tuesday!

Today's theme is Pop Up cards and our guest designer on TAC Savvy Projects Blog is Paula-Kay.

A simple front.

A pop up flower inside. I found this 3 piece pop up flower template online. I simply laid the pattern on the cardstock and cut out the shape.

I stamped the flower pieces with Damask Backgrounder before assembling. I made a little video so you could see how the flower unfolds.

Supplies -- Stamps: Damask Backgrounder, Love You (Level B Hostess set), Fundamental Frames, Wonderful News, Papers: Bazzill Lizard, Tink Pink, Inks: VersaMark and Nior Palette ink.

DDH2 Challenge: Sketch ~ Week 1

Today there's a NEW Challenge at DDH and I'm hosting! I chose a sketch challenge and here in my sketch...

We would LOVE it if you played along! This challenge is open for 2 weeks...now - Sunday, April 3rd. Visit the DDH blog and add a link to your creation based on this sketch to our card gallary and you will have a chance to win blog candy! The winner will be able to choose a DDH digi set $3.50 or less...there are over 30 to choose from so check out the DDH store.

Here is my card based on my sketch...

I used Spindle Angels. Love these angels...so fun to color! I was hoping for a satin finish on the angels dress, like thread on the spool. I'm really happy how it turned out.
