My Minds Eye - Anniversary Card

Happy Saturday!

It has been a while since I posted a new card.  

I was able to stamp a bit the last couple weekends. 

This card is for some friends who celebrate their 

20th wedding anniversary Wednesday.

I made this card from scrap paper.  

The polka dot paper was literally on the floor of my craftroom.

Both are from a My Minds Eye paper pack "On the Bright Side",

 I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby.

I used a new die cut from Stampin' UP - Stitched So Sweetly.

The row of heart die is one I found on Amazon.

The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink - Fillable Frames #4.

Spellbinders - Birthday Pop!

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a fun card I made four our grand-nieces who will be 4 and 6 years old this year.  I used a set from Spellbinders - Birthday Pop.  Love the patterned balloons and building elements in this set.  It is one of those sets where if you just wanted to get 1 new set it would have everything to make a cute card.

The number 4 die cut is another Spellbinders set - Birthday with Numbers.  

I hope to use the rest of this die set soon.

Colors: PTI Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, 

New Leaf, White and True Black.

Spellbinders - Weekend Grill Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a birthday card, using Weekend Grill from Spellbinders.  The sunnier days are making me think summer. 

I think this this die set make a great guy card. The grill was die cut in PTI black, the grate and utensils in silver cardstock.  I added a bit or red for the handles.  The deck is PTI Kraft cardstock stamped with wood plank stamp from Just Rite.  The sun is a Die-namics "Radiant Sun", cut in PTI Summer Gold. 

The birthday greeting is one set I use a lot from PTI - Birthday III set, 7 Happy Birthday in different fonts!

Spellbinders - Loves Me, Loves Me Not

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card with some fun techniques.  The stamp set is from Spellbinders - Loves Me, Loves Me not and sentiment called Happy Sentiments.

  I stamped the image on kraft cardstock.  The leaves are painted with watercolors and the petals are chalk pencil.  I made dew drops with FSJ glaze.

This second card is stamped with Veramark ink to give a guideline for the image.  The leaves are colored with alcohol markers and the petals are chalk pencil.  I added some black pen details and dew drops also.

Cardstock: PTI White, Kraft, Black.
