Ready for a Hop?
This is a fun one - OK they are all fun, but we get to see everyones favorites. What is your favorite set? I had a really hard time choosing. I went with a classic set Happy Trails - one that I've had numerous customers order over the years and one I just got in the last few months believe it or not.
I've been thinking about this card for awhile. I was looking for something simple, relatively easy to make several. I make cards for the shut-ins at our church almost every month and thought this would be a good one, something different than flowers.
The horse is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on kraft cardstock punched with Labels Large nestabilities. I colored the horse with Copics (E31, E33, E37, E47). The background is chalk - Basic Brights, a teal to match the Rustic Chic paper.
I finished it with some hemp cord (still had it out from my Relax & Fish sneak peek card - that new set would qualify as a favorite of mine as well!) tied like a lasso - at least that was what I was going for.
Supplies -- Stamps: Happy Trails, Papers: Rustic Chic, Kraft cardstock, Bazzill Pinecone, Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa ink, Labels Large Nestabilities, Basic Bright Chalks, Copics, Hemp cord.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop.
Abundant Blessings,
Deb
