PaperTrey Ink - Heart and Sole Birthday

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a masculine birthday card using a stamp set from PaperTrey Ink called "Heart and Sole".  It is a multi-layer stamp.  

The sole is created by 4 stamps, main tread is stamped with Smokey Shadow, smaller portion of tread stamped with Spring Rain and "Step" and sentiment with enchanted evening ink.

The cardstock is stone base card, a 1/2" wide strip of Enchanted evening and patterned cardstock "3 Piece Suit".  Add some twine to finish the card.

Unity - Garden of Whimsy Birthday

 Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a birthday card for our grand-niece.  She turned 7 last week.

The image I used is from Unity Stamps - Garden of Whimsy.

The sentiment is from PaperTrey ink: Just Sentiments: Birthday Stamp Set

The image is made up of 4 stamps and I used my We R Precision Press 

to create the scene and add the Happy Birthday after it was colored.

PaperTrey Ink: Hibiscus Burst and Hawaiian Shores

Illustrates Faith: Seeds of Faith #1461 Fundamentals

The patterned paper Seeds of Faith was from a booth my sister and I found at the Stamp N Scrap Expo last August.  The Faith and Arts shop in Logos Bookstore in Kent, Ohio created some faith filled scrapbook papers, which they had on sale during the expo.  They had so many wonderful things and their demonstration was on bible journaling.  We were able to try Gelatos, Acrylic paint pens, Cosmic Shimmer glitter kiss and opal polish all great for bible journaling because they don't breed through the page.  I'm hoping I will have more about Bible Journaling later this year.  I bought several of the Inspire books of the bible, plus I've collected a few Bibles for bible journaling over the last couple years.  I'm hoping I will have the courage to actually start coloring in them.  The class at the Expo was a great start to get some experience.

Unity Stamps - Wonderful Human Birthday

 

Happy Saturday!

Today, I have a card I made for my friend's daughter who turned 16 

in November and my niece whose birthday was Monday, 

both are wonderful humans. The stamp set is from Unity Stamps.

 

The image was colored with Copic markers, image background is light 

blue chalk.  A fun image that is for sure.
