Spellbinders - Nature Grown - Birthday

 
Happy Saturday,

Today I have a birthday card to share.  It uses a Spellbinders/Fun Stampers Journey set "Nature Grown" I bought last year.  It think this is a very versatile set, great for any occasion - birthday to sympathy.

I made a birthday card, which I plan to give to the guys on my birthday card this year.  The tree and sentiment is stamped in PTI Dark Chocolate ink.  The turquoise Ombre background is PTI Stormy Seas and Ocean Tide ink applied with blending brushes I found on Amazon for around $10, love the different sizes.   

PTI card stock: Kraft, Fine Linen and Ocean Tides
PTI inks: Stormy Seas, Ocean Tides, Dark Chocolate
Jute ribbon and large Eyelet

 Happy Memorial Day!

Today, I have a couple of cards made with painted burlap cardstock.

I've had this book of burlap cardstock for a couple years.  

I've finally used a piece to create a couple of cards.
