That's Fabulous - Nativity

Today, I have this years Christmas card.  We sent this one to the majority of our friends and family.  The Nativity image is a free digi Mischelle posted on her Facebook page.  I also used a freebie digi paper TAC offered once upon a time.

So, this was a super easy card to mass produce, all digital!  I made around 60 of this one the day after Thanksgiving.  I even used paper I had already, which is a huge victory for me.

I printed the Nativity scene on PTI Fine Linen cardstock.  The matting is TAC ivory cardstock and base card is PTI Fine Linen. The patterned paper is a digital paper printed on standard ivory computer paper.  Then, I used the same ivory computer paper for the inner insert.

The sentiment for this card is the same as die cut Nativity card I posted earlier this week.  These were the 2 cards I made this year to send out.

“For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

“For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but in order that the world
might be saved through him.”

John 3:17

May your Christmas be a time
to reflect on the simplicity of His birth
and the magnitude of His purpose.

Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  To get ready for the season, we are having a blog hop to show off all the Christmas and winter themed images available from Whimsy and Stars Studio and to introduce the new Winter 2013 design team!

If you just arrived from Christine's blog, you are on the right track!  If not, please start at the beginning of the hop at the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog to make sure you don't miss out on anything. Hop along and leave a comment for each member of  design team.

The hop will end on Friday, December 7th at midnight EST.  One random winner, to be announced on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog on December 8th, will be picked from all the comments received to win the Grand Prize of THREE Digi Stamps.

Today, I used Jolly Christmas, just love this image and I can't believe it took me this long to use it.  I used Sparkle Fluff for all the trim on her outfit.

Just a note, this is my last post for the Whimsy and Stars design team.  It has been over a year and I'm taking a break for awhile. It has been wonderful and Mabelle has assembled a fantastic Winter design team.  Can't wait to see what lovely inspiration they come up with for the January new release.

Taylored Expressions - Nativity Die

Happy Monday!

I have one of my Christmas cards today.  This card was created for the home bound ministry this year.   When I saw this die by Taylored Expressions, I thought it was perfect, a beautiful Nativity scene.  I love how intricate the design is for this die.

The cardstock is from PaperTrey Ink, Enchanted Evening and Fine Linen.  The ribbon is also from PTI, Fine Linen twill ribbon.

The background is a speckle stamp, stamped in PTI Enchanted Evening ink.  I'm not sure where the sentiment is from - possibly Impressions of Faith, which went out of business several years ago

I did the inside verse on the computer...however the main verse is also from Taylored Expressions "Christmas Blessings"

“For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

“For God did not send his Son into the world
to condemn the world, but in order that the world
might be saved through him.”

John 3:17
